While walking down then street taking photos a college student might take a picture of a tree with a long shaddow comming off on the left side of the tree, a picture of a fellow college student also taking pictures, an extreme close up picture of a street sign,or even of the local flowers with lots of color in them.

A college student taking photos might take there photos in some kind of artistic style. In talikg there pictures they might crop there pictures in interesting ways. They may look at the subjest of there pictures from many different angles. They may not eant the whole subject in there pictures. Just half of a plant or statue is all they might want in the picture. A college student may also use dramatic light, and shaddows, extreme close ups, or even wide angles in there pictures.

This picture is of Snapple juice, Poland Spring water, various soda flavors, and sports drink flavors. It crops just the drinks so you can see just the drinks and the colors they show. This croped image of the drinks makes the colors stand out more because there is nothing else to destract your eye. This is a good college student picture because it takes something we see everyday and looks at it in a diferent way. It is a picture of something that people might not think would be interesting enouth to take as a photo at a first look.

This picture of the Greyhound buss terminal is of a building that does not exist anymore. It shows the old bus terminal from July 14, 1936. It shows what the old bus terminal looked like. This picture of the bus terminal shows us the look and feel of 1936 by showing us how things have dhanged since then. It shows us how things change with the look of the buildings and vheicles. Thats how Berenice Abbot got the look and feel of the time in this picture.

This image is by Nicholas Eveleigh. It can be foundd on his web site by going to www.eveleigh.com/site.htm. This picture of the gallon of milk is white on white with a red top.The white on white almost washes out the image of the milk in the picture. It almost looks like a blank picture with just some red near the top. The color of red helps you to see the milk better. It does not fade into the background. This picture shows how pure and healthy milk is. It is simple and effective

This photo was taken at Van Cortland Park in the North Bronx on Friday September 8, 2006.This photo works well because of the contrasting light. The squirrlel is looking in the direction of the light, while his body is in shaddow with just the tip of his tail in light. Nothing is washed out and nothing is to dark. The light adds a pleasing slanted shaddow that's coming off the tree. There is also a nice green patch of grass between the tree and the squirrle. The light helps to split them appart and adds some nice color to the photo.
